I found quite interesting your discussion about LLC, in my previous experience I realized that being an owner of LLC is generally much better then being the private owner (not only property btw)!

Being poor college students my girlfriend and I used our word of mouth and told everyone around the complex of what had happened and what to do.

Renting "rooms" is common in college/university housing.

Of course, while it saves an attorney fee, it's still a colossal waste of my time, plus the court fees.My best success in court comes when there's a co-signer (the parents of college students, for instance).
