To purchase the MF (FHA) would I need to sell my FHA home prior, or can I purchase at the same time as the sale or even before?

@Leah Shanker condo buildings have master insurance policies (aka blanket insurance). 

With title problems there is no incentive for anyone to address condition.Owners title insurance doesn’t cover consequential damages... read the policy, it is clear how damages are calculated and when.Check the contract... does it say the buyer takes the property subject to violations, etc.

I'm new to Florida (about a year and a half), and I moved to Hernando County, not really knowing anything about the area prior to moving here.

@Daylen Fiallo  I think this depends on your strategy.If your strategy is to buy and hold - I would HIGHLY recommend going with a RCV (Replacement Cost Value) policy which is offered by many carriers.

The mortgage itself is protection as the bank owns most of the property.Insurance should be your second line of defense.You can get an umbrella policy for another layer of protection.
