I've been thinking about starting a website and/or facebook to direct people to our listings and spread the bug. 250+ 5 star reviews per year I can't help but think social media and/or a website would help with return customers and word of mouth bookings. 

We contact employer, landlord and personal references and perform social media and public data searches.    

Maybe you should document the process through social media and youtube and maybe there could be away to document and at some point monetize your journey. 

If you are renovating, and pulling a permit they will most likely require you to redo the wiring for the needed dedicated circuits (fridge, dishwasher, microwave/hood, etc) and to meet current codes (locations of outlets, GFCI etc).

Sadly just getting rid of the tenant does not get rid of the bed bugs because they can hide in outlets, carpet and so on.....

I also do websites, graphic design, logo design and social media marketing but I haven't been doing a lot of that type of work lately because my day job as a Community Manager takes a lot of mental energy.

It seems like both companies have been heavily advertising their services, especially on social media. 

There are area social media groups that you can belong to.

Learn everything you can about SEO and social media marketing and set up landing pages (plenty of free services like Wix and Weebly) then build solid relationships (get the in writing) with any type of business, Investors, Realtors, Trades ect.. and sell them your leads.
