Regarding the LLC (let's call this Business B), my idea is to use the LLC to build business and corporate credit cards that I'm not personally liable for. 

He has not idea what the condition of the property is either.

When I was looking for more MF, he pitched the ground-up construction idea because I couldn't find any MF that I liked.  

Your post doesn't make any sense and doesn't give anyone an idea of how they can help you other than that maybe you need a connection for a mortgage.

This is one of the reasons why now is a great time to buy and hold single family rental properties in growth markets (like Jacksonville.)But make sure you do your due diligence on the team before investing.

@Caley Crossman Several of my clients have successfully used a Self-Directed Plan (RRSP, TFSA, etc.) to hold a mortgage against their own personal residential property.
