Hello,I am planing to make a flip on condo in Montreal, i am new to this market relatively (4 Months), and in generally to this country.So i have couple of questions that i will love to get an opinion on,1-Is there any option to find out about closed deals that happened in a specific area/neighborhood?

If you have nothing to bring to the table you will find it difficult I always tell folks in this situation is to simply go on e bay you can buy every single guru's written materials and tapes for 20 to 50 bucks each guru.. listen to all of those read them all.. then slice and dice and see what fits your personality.no one ever said real estate is easy.. takes no money and will just fall in your lap.. its the polar opposite.. 

Right now my partner and I are building our team and putting in some time in the streets learning neighborhoods, driving for dollars and networking with anyone we can get in touch with.

I'd like to hear about neighborhoods. 

Is this neighborhood reasonably safe or is disaster around the corner. 

One popped up in my neighborhood and several people in the neighborhood informed code enforcement and they shut them down.If you and your wife are good with living in a smaller place to pay down your mortgage faster than that seems like a great idea to me.At some point in the future you could always move back into the main house and rent the smaller unit if you ever wanted to.
