it would make more sense if it was $8k for the 9 sep services.Ours run $284 a meter plus $800 each if the latter has to have the service installed at the road because of single line water pressure issues.Here a rental unit runs $60-$80/mo for water.

Just drill and insert, it does have an o-ring, but there's a lot of pressure running through these pipes and I would be concerned with that thing shooting out then spraying water everywhere.

I wonder if the following can be a leading indicator as to where the market is going: For a given location, sub-market, etc, find the number of price decreases of listings (MLS only) per month as a percentage of the number of active listings for that month to see if there is an upward trend indicating that sellers are starting to feel the pressure of a market slowdown.

Correct course is to change everything, but that is mucho $$$, if the water pressure is okie upto the toilet trunk then the immediate fix would be to only change the pipe that is clogged.

I don't know your level of motivation as a buyer but agents are always gauging the seriousness of their clients and perhaps your agent, whether correctly or not, may have labeled you as not a serious buyer or a "tirekicker".
