Most non-recourse in housing will be under Section 42 tax credit programs, as few as 12 units might be done with mixed use.

Seems silly since I could just rent to a bunch of 18 year olds NOT going to school and they would insure me, and that would be a greater risk to them than th mixed bag of students and non students that I have...Hope that helps a little,Kelly

Sounds like an odd mix of information so I am not sure what you are looking at.  

By posting on BP, developing a BP network, and reading real estate books, you will do fine in RE, no matter the major.Tech is drastically changing the way we do things, but one thing tech won't be able to replace is human interaction and understanding (in the near future), which I would say is the most important aspect of real estate investing.I ended up majoring in Political science, while taking a few business classes.

Today we did the foundation inspection and found the kitchen and laundry "heaving", the foundation tech. thinks this is most probably due to a leak in the sewer pipes, and he strongly recommends to do a plumbing test prior to move forward with the deal.

I make it refundable so there is incentive to get it back.My experience with this has been mixed.
