Hey guys, I'm looking for a multi-family property in the north shore area of MA.

This is their zoning ordinance http://qcode.us/codes/sunnyvale/ and this is their zoning map http://sunnyvale.ca.gov/Portals/0/Sunnyvale/CDD/Ma..., I am not seeing a zoning that is A(PD).

I would prefer my first investment to be local, so am looking at opportunities around MA (possibly Rhode Island).

@Erik Pfundstein Erik, NH is a significantly more landlord friendly than MA.. evidenced by the less stringent lead-based paint laws and shorter eviction timelines.

The proximity to MA is a benefit.Manchester strong rents, but getting into the market can be tough, as multis are priced accordingly.West Hartford if you're in this town you're probably banking on appreciation, not cashflow.Glastonbury Strong rents, but expensive.

I know MA has some very specific lease termination rules so the other thing is I'd start the dialogue with a local atty to ensure you're crossing t's and dotting i's in advance so once you have the proof you need there's no question that you followed the law.
