Some folks do give it a bad name, but, I for one, am thrilled to partner with wholesalers as much as possible, and I'd like to amp up my own wholesaling expertise bec I am doing the home owner a service.Many realtors talk badly about wholesalers and I frankly just think it is a lack of knowledge forming strong opinions.

Couldn't agree with you more on how searches are done and lack of experience or "expertise" same goes for attorneys in 5 year where i managed a 1200 npl portfolio my biggest struggle was finding firms I felt confortable with...must have gone through close to 100. 

It just depends on every investors' situations, goals, preferences, and non-monetary assets (i.e. time & expertise)

He stated that the foreclosure notice nullified any lease agreement in place, something I'm not so sure about as I don't have much legal expertise?

Whenever you notify your power company for their resources is about the same time you want to be notifying the telecom/cable companies (unless your lots are going to be serviced aerially via poles.)Otherwise, I've got no expertise in splitting lots.
