Ive been studying up on wholesaling and the entire real estate process and I know this is a field i would like to get into...Anyone with any pointers as far as mentoring, groups, contacts etc. would be  greatly appreciated

I use Access to manage my list but it is overkill for a smaller list.If you are using Excel or other spreadsheet, create a new field to flag records to exclude from your list and use the help button to find tutorials how to filter out records you don't want to mail.

Unless the vetting process is being administered by professionals in the particular field being financed, losses compounded by mistakes are the inevitable result.VC firms specialize in particular categories or business types - usually they have a senior partner who is an expert on the type of business they invest in.  

I wish you much success with that and hopes that it slingshots your REI career.1) I don't get why it's even being voted on, if it's something that some are already doing... how are thy allowed to do it already? 

The fact that there is so many other's who find real estate difficult is both a learning experience and a testament that there's a lot of people who have no business in being in this field.
