I am new to being a landlord in Colorado Springs.

I myself am an investor, agent, and co-owner of a general contracting business.

I would verify the presence and operation of smoke and CO detectors, ensure there are no apparent safety hazards in the home, and make a plan to non-renew the leases when they come up for renewal. 

To refresh my memory, I looked up my city's form again and they have a section on the owner's affidavit for property managers, co-hosts, etc where the owner fills out (see bold text).  

In commercial financing, lenders run the gamut, from local, regional and national banks, agency lenders, credit unions, life co's, CMBS, debt funds, etc.

Funds can come from a gift from family or from a business partner who is a co-borrower on the loan.
