Fastest way to grow you real estate portfolio.

@Jay Hinrichs @Steve Vaughan Looks like there's a lot of reasonable and good thinking here, but I think it's easy to oversimplify protecting yourself legally, especially if you start small and grow.

You can find cash flow neutral or positive in Houston (I invest there) and San Antonio, and possibly in Dallas metros in very decent neighborhoods as those are strong economies and growing metros, though those markets may lack the sexiness and tech profile of Austin.

If you look at the population growth over the past few years you can see how Bakersfield is growing at a rate faster than Fresno, and that is not set to stop any time soon.  

Their research found there is strong and growing demand for these monthly housing lodging solutions. 

If anybody could link me to any great RE books, podcasts or how or where I should start, just basically starting, then growing.

As you suggested, why is critical here.Some suggestions are tilting towards growing the sum.

Its cheap to grow (all though it takes a while) vs concrete where you have to mine several different materials then combine them together in a processing plant and then you get to form it and cure it.
