Agree, our youngest daughter has been home office bound for >3 years (yes b4 Covid) & she is now interviewing for 'home office' staff to assist in the accounting/audit for the 3 (inter-related) corporations she is the financial officer for.

I want more for my daughter and I but I have no guidance or anyone I can ask questions other than these books.

I do tell them about CoC return concept and the power of leverage, however, when you factor closing costs, points etc for that mortgage of $60-70K, you’re much better off keeping it free&clear.Off course, if house worth $100K+, it makes sense to cash it out and repeat the processMy daughter lives in TX so I do visit that sunny state....lol 

While my expenses will be skyrocketing, I also recently realized that because I've been focusing too much on the future I've been giving too much stress to my wife about not spending money even while she is out with our daughter and her friends. 

Lake co has always had its ups and downs and really has a very fascinating history vis a vi land development etc.. too long of a story here.. but suffice it to say I grew up in It.. and my families business was buying and developing land in Lake co.issue with Lake county is the roads coming in and going out.My daughter went to School at Davis 

My wife, little daughter, Johnson and I went out to lunch last month. 

Luckily my daughter's house was nearby.
