I heard Alberta is a good place to invest minus the 10cm of snow they have today. 

That's a lot easier than spending half your time dealing with snakes in the dryer vent and digging someone out of a snow bank.

I do not see expenses for garbage, snow removal, lawncare/landscaping Finance: Where this is a residential property (<= 4 units) you will have to qualify for a mortgage at the 5-year fixed rate (5.34% according to BoC) with a 25yr amortization.

Longer term I want to be able to invest both in WA and AZ and become a snow bird :) in addition to providing my kids something long lasting.Alright, I think that's good for now.
