Big fan of Golden.

I think I'm the biggest non-fan of pets on the planet - both personally and from a landlord perspective. 

At the same time, just getting the chance to get a property without a bidding war gives you some leverage following the inspection phase.BTW I am not a fan of up/down duplexes with shared meters (water and gas).

@Anthony Thompson where can I find off market properties in Rhode Island or the New England area?

I'm in an area of small New England towns, with a few small city areas steadily attracting young professionals and becoming trendy. 

That's why it's becoming a pain.It started when I was getting ready for a city rental inspection when my inherited tenant casually mentioned that I should keep the fans in the kitchen on, as she uses them to keep away the smell of gas that has been coming and going since the stove was replaced 10 months ago.

NETRA is New England Trail Riders Association, so the thought of moving east to southern Maine or west to northern NY are options I’ve been researching.

Ceiling fans throughout home, Professionally installed Forever-lawn pet friendly grass on roof, private rear patio deck, LG Washer/Dryer laundry room with mop-sink.

Personally not a fan of this.  

We want to travel, maybe buy a sprinter adventure van or a tiny house in the white mountains, or maybe invest in a few AIRBNB's down the road near ski areas to keep up our adventurous lifestyle (this one is more selfish but tourism in New England is great and steady).We look forward to to being regular on the forums and look forward to meeting and interacting with all the fine folks on BP.
