When we are asked for a proof of funds, I will write a letter, likely similar to the one you received, and I always include a redacted bank statement.

I would greatly appreciate your input on this matter.Here is my setupPurchased property under a TrustLLC in FL owns the TrustHolding company LLC in WY owns LLC in FLI purchased the property sub-to, took over the seller's mortgage and I’m working on setting up insurance for the property.I understand I need to keep the seller as additionally insured in my insurance, but the seller no longer has "interest" (ownership) either in the Trust, nor any of the LLCs nor in the Deed nor Settlement Statement.

@Sandee SampsonA construction attorney would be who to contact but you are going to spend a lot more than $7000 in getting this resolved against a builder.Also let’s say you win, the courts could also say you didn’t pay for a retaining wall which is needed so it’s a betterment to the property so you would still need to pay for the wall and they would be responsible for some soil etc.
