I have a meeting Tuesday with my CPA to discuss this and other topics. 

This is a very interesting topic to me as well - I am starting to look for a first investment property, and what I am currently looking for is a multi-family that I could owner-occupy if I wanted... but if after one year I decided to move on from that home, it should cash flow.
