There are still rules that need to be developed, but based on this being in Cook County, I highly doubt those rules will favor landlords in any way.Now on to my opinion soapbox.

Just my opinion.

I know this is a complicated subject, mainly because there are lots of investors who are happy to break the law (because the police don't enforce it) and so this has led people to have wrong opinions about what is legal. 

I live, invest, and work in LV as a Realtor and I wasn't clear on if they were deductible or not, but from the opinions I've gathered from local CPA's, it seems they are NOT tax deductible.

I sold one house in Fairmount, I would call it class D in my opinion.

Financials are reviewed and some have thorough bylaws but others are just plain secretive in my opinion. 

In my opinion, BRRR works in high and low purchase price areas.

The differences of opinions are useful because I learn more from the people who have a different world view than I do (they force me to think through why my world view is still the one I want to have).
