Because we wanted more room in the kitchens of the apartments below, several years later we took out the chimney brick all the way down to the basement (this we did ourselves with the help of hired students in about two days). 

I am doing a new roof,  Kitchen,  Full Bath, Flooring and some electrical.  

New fixtures everywhere, saving the floors, complete bathroom and kitchen redo.

In my personal residence, we had one die in our wall near the sink in the kitchen.

Is there any get online stores to order fixtures for bathrooms and kitchen items to do rehabs?

The key is always to have leverage and pay upon completion of agreed upon milestone such as end of demolition, upon successfully passing of rough inspection, upon kitchen installation, upon successful passing of final inspection, upon completion of final walk through and touch up list.You should specify these milestone in the contract under "payment schedule" so there are no surprises.Always keep a significant amount 20-30% as a final payment upon completion of final touch up list.

Now in my house I've got a screen in the sink and never put anything in the garbage grinder.I've only got a few rentals with them and when the in-sink-erators stop working it usually takes us at least a day to figure out what happened and how to fix it, so I caution Tenants about this.PS One tough drain problem I had from a kitchen sink with a disposer (no traps either) was solved with shop/wet vac - broken glass came out.

You can't move doors or walls and the 8 x 10 kitchen had 4 doors and 2 windows that were close to the floor. 

The ends (sides) of my kitchen cabinets have seen much better days.
