Area is ok, not growing like crazy but not going south either...growth probably more on the touristic side than on the employment and population side. 

I am a college student (senior) and want to get started in real estate.I know I don't want to go to anything financially heavy-based (commercial real estate analyst, underwriter, etc.).I wanted to gain ideas from this great community what are some jobs/departments in residential and commercial that one can go into that still pays well, but isn't so strictly revolved around finance and has good growth opportunity.

There may be prior owner Mortgages or Judgments attached to the property that will negatively affect your ability to sell the property.

Commercial only interests me as there are certain areas in Utah where the business environment is continuing to see solid growth

Things like population growth, job growth, housing needs, business needs, and any others needs that might show up plus any negatives of any industry or other businesses that may may hire many people in the local community or if anything new that has been planned for the future that has not broken ground yet.Good luck to you!

My moving existing Roth funds in this fashion, you are negating the ability to add new Roth funds to your overall portfolio.
