@Alex Bekeza is correct Finance of America tried to sell their forward mortgage unit when Blackstone (who owned 60%) saw dark skies ahead.

My first two questions: How much do you smoke? 

The property is in need of some TLC, such as paint, they were heavy smokers and smoked in the house, appliances, and some updating.Trying to decide if I should do a refinance or use a HELOC to make the repairs/update to get started. 

My trim guy drinks like a fish and smokes pot multiple times throughout the day.

Haha nope I don’t touch alcohol ( poison to the body) I can’t stand cigarettes or smoke and I never bought a lotto ticket in my life .

Keep in mind these are all relatively new units, in a populous area, less than 5 miles from a fire station, with smoke detectors, long term tenancy units, etc.

Just driving around but don't know the area seems like a shot in the dark and not efficient use of time.Terry

The areas in St Cloud that are so called "bad" areas, I would walk the dark alleys alone at 2am, the worst areas in St Cloud are comparable with an average area in Brooklyn park.

Even though it was reported as vacant , I was denied the claim due to there being no working smoke detectors found.
