Back story:I live in Houston and have a property (primary home) that is 2.5 lots on top of a hill.

Making $50K a year and trying to put 25% down to buy a single family home in the Oakland Hills will not work. 

I know i had loans on a few :(   My Brother in law bought a home  in Las Altos Hill in 90 that had sold in 87 peak for 2.5 mil and he picked it up for 1.3 still lives there today probably worth 6 to 8 mil today.. so real estate does bounce back in some markets but this was a sub market in prime Silicon Valley SF peninsula..

Any real estate meetups in Lancaster SC, Indian Land SC, Rock Hill SC, or Charlotte NC.

Really liking the Tobin Hill, Alta Vista, Mahncke Park areas.

One in the Charlotte, NC area (Rock Hill, SC/Upstate SC), and another in the mountains of NC, where I spent 95% of my time.
