These are always fun debates, and yes I know there is not necessarily a right answer as this is very situational, but I thought it would be fun to come to the table with some extra ammunition this year. 

Checking the IRS tax tables for my taxable income and the number matches what Turbo tax listed.I called the IRS and spent hours waiting and finally talking with multiple agents.

It makes no sense to leave money on the table by objectively being under market, just as it makes no sense to let your property sit because it's priced over-market.

Banks tend to not bring that up in conversation so you bring even more money to the table but it is common place.
