It did not pass the last city council vote in August of 2023, and will likely be taken up again this year.

I don't remember the number of permits they are going to issue, but they are pretty close to their cap as well.City of South Lake Tahoe has primarily banned short term rentals, this was voted on by the residents of South Lake Tahoe and passed at the end of 2020. 

I was notified by you voting for my post, if you had other questions then you would need to use the @ sign and start typing the name of the person you want.

But no govt – left/right will fix it based on lobbies/vote bloc/…. other reasons.

Various local government, state, county & cities, are in a HUGE windfall from home prices shooting up, enjoying one of the BIGGEST budget increases ever in there careers, and it required 0 bill's, townhalls, votes etc..
