After reading and getting connected to the community, I am now wondering if it doesn't make sense to try and get access to this equity now so I have flexibility about where to use that capital going forward. 

Renovate units and swimming pool, secure perimeter and add secure access gates. 

You will not have access to those funds for other opportunities. 

My CPA also has access and reviews my accounts each quarter.

Since you have access to the VA loan and are considering the house hack, your return on cash is going to be really high (nearly infinite).

Reads like Owner gives ATT preferred access & marketing and gets a commission on resident accounts.

My agent got it off market, seller was asking 275, I offered 275, they accepted, no one else had access to it as far as I know.
