It is funny that we are all IT professionals looking for an out by becoming a REI.  

I recently obtained my PE (Professional Engineering) license and I was wondering if there are any PE's out there who were able to leverage their license for real estate investing.I would love to hear any thoughts on this.

I have read several books and watched tons of videos and I’m finally going to be making my first purchase within the next 6 months .... if your interested we can go to some REI meetings together and help one another on anylyzing properties , etc ... that way we are more comfortable when the actual time comes

@Jeff Burdick, thanks for responding, I would love to connect, I am really passionate about getting in REI, and I would like to start my first deal Right now, I am not an expert nor professional but I have gathered and learned so much that I feel confident diving in, AND I can learn more and more as I swim in deeper

I watched the BiggerPockets YouTube video on the 4 square method and I’ve been trying it on some properties for sale on the MLS in my area.

I have been watching all types of investing videos for months now and i had 1bed condo come to my attention. 

Start studying as much information as you can about real estate investing on sites like BP, YouTube videos, etc. 

i watch tons and tons of videos about flipping but they just mention the contract but never say where to get it from. 

Even the ones that have the most professional set up can still have issues.
