This is especially true since all the "residential" products out there are no longer available to you anyway.Sure, I'd like to think if you keep your properties proper condition, the insurance should cover you. 

I knew that it would be a well-placed investment to resale land in the future or to build a short-term rental for Lake Travis/Hill Country visitors or those who want to be more in nature and escape Austin for a day or two.

I have done entire home renovations with just products purchased from Lowes... never had an issue.

We are already seeing Portland landlords take their rentals out of production and sell the SFRs there has been such a huge run up in values and there is SUCH a HUGE shortage of SFRs available it makes no sense to keep them as rentals.. there by reducing the housing stock even more.
