"John" has obtained the City of Scottsdale permit to start construction process once we close.

I'm just starting out and would like to get a few new construction single family homes under my belt. 

Current value of the property is $325K.New construction duplex units in the general area (NW Denver) are selling for around $600K each.

I have VA loan eligibility, I know they do construction loans but given the fact it's a joint project would I be able to use it here?

This property posed all kinds of problems as a rehab anyway with a horrible floorplan and odd construction.
