Most of the herds are reactive which is why the tend to get marginal results in life.Right now I feel good about the economy but I also remember 90's crisis, 9/11 trade center event, and the massive fallout of 2007.

Nearly every investment decision I make is centered around that entire statement.

The criteria is to pick somewhat desirable cities based on good school ratings, proximity to job centers, overall good quality of life etcI am looking for thoughts/comments from the group as to what they think about this approach.

The "Amazon effect" is causing investors to flee shopping center REITS in favor of industrial warehouse REITs, etc.

It has become a large tech center in Atlanta.

Amazon has (4) distribution centers here, the Port is spending 424 million on dredging to 50 feet, the logistics business is crazy nuts here in Jax.
