Proper Notice to give them?

Sometimes the landlord doesn't have the property properly registered or they don't have valid contact information on file to send notices.

Im really new to the landlording game, and im trying to get clear information on how to properly and legally deny a tenant application.

Most of the 2-4 unit properties that exist in the area exist in DC proper, so those percentages plumit even more against the metro areas 2,354,827 housing units that exist. 

@Micaiah Cormier Nothing wrong with owner financing :) You would just need to use a title company and make sure everything is properly recorded like a real mortgage so you have protection.

Go to a title or escrow company and have them handle the transaction properly.
