@Peter Callahan One of my concerns about recommending others is that if things don't go as expected, the blame falls on me for having made the recommendation.When a client needs a tradesman to do repairs, I tell them that I've had good luck with Home Advisor (which I have).  

4 service dogs sounds extreme.  

I'm concerned that it might be tree roots growing into the pipe.

I know extreme but that actually happpened.

I can say that I am not really interested in real estate investing in the Bay Area as I feel the market is extremely overpriced for what is here and do not feel it would be best suited for me.

As a side note, I have some concerns about rehabbing a house and then turning it over to tenants for a few years and then expecting it to be ready for sale.

The property was built in 1930 and our family is very concerned about the age.

He has been one of Matt's best friends for almost 30 years though, so we weren't at all concerned with him possibly getting information about our account and It was a small local credit union. 

If so, keep in mind...that can be extremely risky.
