By purchasing a multi-unit property, living in one unit, and renting out the others, you can cover your mortgage payments and start building equity while gaining rental income.

We started it about 3 years ago. 

Build out the network for GCs in your area and start to bid jobs, then you can build out how much each job would cost.

It started small, just helping to draft LOI's, running down property leads, making calls, but the important thing was just getting in and DOING it. 

My two cents: get a job and HUSTLE right out of school and create some income and save up some capital.

Effectively good egg is simply a P.O. box that takes a Commission out of your hard earned/saved money, in return, for purportedly providing due diligence to vet the potential projects and sponsors, on your behalf.
