Normally I only deal locally unless it's a referral.

The benefit to focusing on your best clients is that you will get reviews and referrals.

You gambled your investment capital on an internet investment-promoter.

Hopefully you get great people on the first try, but hard to know without referrals.

I looked in the forum and there were some old posts about contractor referrals but most of them were 5+ years old and I wasn't able to find half of the names mentioned by googling.
