It was a future project I was inspecting, and we just got the news that our offer was Pending the day after the incident.....I have no idea why you are trying to put me on the defensive, but a word of advice, please bring more to the table than assumptions and outdated Realtor.com data when you launch an attack on somebody about their home market.

So, I would want to tie it up at this point and get in to do some serious due diligence.I sure would want to look at some financial statements for the last couple of years, I would want to check out the leases, I would want to investigate the rental market, I would want to inspect every unit, I would to call on the fire department, check any police incidents, check with the building department for violations, permits, etc.Overall this looks like a good possibility on the surface.

I wouldn't be shocked if you were to be named the defendant in a lawsuit due to this scalding incident; ignorance ("personally i didnt even know they had scald protectors") is usually not an acceptable excuse.
