There exists those of us that want a property in Costa Rica despite the issues we are discussing here.

I've asked my clients a similar question and have developed tools for them to minimize this, but I find there are a few different types of clients.Manager managed - these folks have no issues as they simply upload their year end statement from their property manager, their 1098 mortgage statement and any other one-off expenses they may have paid for outside of the management company.

That is the issue I am having now as my wife and I have great paying jobs and just cleared all our debt.

As others have stated this is unrealistic due to arrival time, cost order issues, and volume to make it worth it.

Be prepared to face fluctuations in the market, unexpected repairs, and tenant issues.

They seem to have a good team but this is something not thought out it seems , in their support I do have DSTs which have had the same issue and have not been making payments. 

I am also have issues with this construction group....

I’ve never had this specific issue but mistakes like this are pretty common. 

But occasionally we have issues and tenants need to be asked to leave or just decide to disappear in the middle of winter and it sucks.The worst part is I find the quality of tenant interested or willing to move this time of year isn't the greatest either - often times there is a reason they have to move right now since most landlords don't like ending leases this time of year.Either lower your rent or just hang in there.
