Some lenders are less enlightened than others :)

Without those means to mitigate my business risk (especially given the precarious state of the restaurant industry), I feel like just passing on these applicants as they create a heightened business risk for me which I am disinclined to shoulder, especially given the times.

I will just summarize it as a learning and enlightening experience.I suspect you need to start by obtaining a Power of Attorney to give you legal authority to make decisions with respect to this property. 

Lead laws in MA are potentially a deal killer if you don't know how to navigate them - I'm sure Derreck will jump in here soon to enlighten us all, again.The thing that scares me the most about Mass.

Well unfortunately he does not want to sell and after talking to a friend of his he enlightened me that "he has never sold a thing in his life".

However, I’m hesitant now because I’m concerned that the tenants may not follow proper hygiene and social distancing protocols which would heighten the risk of exposure especially if one of them gets infected.Which brings up a reasonable question;If you decide to try this, would you include these concerns in your house rules and on a more sensitive note, would you require your tenants to be vaccinated to qualify?

Thus, increasing your monthly expenses.Kindly enlighten me, please.
