The term "landlord"  or "land lord"  has always seemed like an old term left over from the 1800's when my ancestors were both peasants and poor tenant farmers paying monthly rent to the more wealthy owners.

You should be wealthy. 

You can become very rich and wealthy over time but YOU HAVE TO BE CONSISTENT AND PERSISTENT with it.

This is not a wild new concept: I'm sure you've heard the terms "guilt culture" and "shame culture" before.So whenever you feel embarrassed, suspect you're being manipulated, perhaps even unconsciously, by other people and your own feelings and the ideas this society had tried to brainwash you with to keep you in line.

A lot of that occurred after the recession or in very rough markets, or extremely rural markets.Now if you are talking a normal market, and an investor who is not already independently wealthy from some other business and has a ton of cash to spend, I imagine the podcast episode would sound like this:Host - Tell me how you got started.Guest - I saved up cash until I had enough for my first investment.

It seems like a pretty solid choice for building wealth. I

I've never been one to speak about myself so I will tell you that I have friends (some from wealthy families and others coming from poverty) that thanks to this industry, if they WANTED to could very easily retire making 5 figure incomes from their portfolios and they are from 24 - 34 years old.
