All the military service members I have worked with have really enjoyed not paying real estate taxes here in IL!

The registered agent is listed on all the documents, not the property owner.Your Operating Agreement should list members and authority. 

I'll have to check and see if I need attorney or not, does anyone know if the building is in an LLC and I am a member, can do pro se in Dupage County?

And the greatest thing about Bigger Pockets is that you can also use the reference feature on a person's profile and actually talk to Bigger Pockets members who have worked with that QI.

It’s hard to find a lot of negative reviews as they’ve gotten Reddit threads removed and pour in fake reviews on sites from employees, family members etc. it’s not that hard to do a quick google search and see.

I think this is a great cautionary tale to tell BP members..
