I’m working on building and updating my buyers list, focused specifically on the NY Tri-State area, and I’d love to add YOU or any referrals you may have.

UPDATE - After my post earlier today, I was contacted by Zach Lemaster with Rent to Retirement.

Ensure the property appraises at its updated post-renovation value to maximize the equity you can pull out.A refinance isn’t a taxable event, but transferring ownership to your LLC may affect depreciation or future capital gains.

If the property only needs light cosmetic updates, 3 months might be doable, but for more extensive renovations, it’s going to take longer.
