Yes, but what I like about the 100 year old floors are how they seem to wear slightly lighter in the middle and darker on the edges, just real slight, and then the little nicks that appear darker.I have had patches put in where the old floor heaters were and, yes its amazing that they can match them so they do not even show a patch was put there.

needs small wood railing added to entrance steps to avoid fallssmall mold/mildew patch in bathroom ceiling above shower needs to be removed and repaired needs retrofit bathroom exhaust fan to avoid recurrence of mildew ^downstairs needs interior re-painted (average cost?)

Guess what, electrical is even more expensive because you have to cut through the drywall to run electrical, then patch it back up, paint it, etc. 50K ain't enough for all that I'm sorry.

Only issue is that since they are so tho you need to fill any dips in the substrate with floor patch so the floor doesn't buckle.

They will say things like fully remodeled and you find out they patched a few mechanicals and put lipstick in of carpet and paint and are claiming turn key properties in excellent shape.

Just pay your GC to fit in a new one and patch the drywall when complete.As you mentioned, this is a tiny detail...it's good to keep an eye on costs, but not good to nit pick every last dollar spent.
