You may want to just pay the $ and get the property appraised on your own, that will give you the best idea of value because at the end of the day, a property is only worth what someone will buy it for.

If that changes, contractors will build condos direct for sale and some that have been built maybe offered for sale as well.The 6-8 years is the current "seasoning" time that an apartment building must sit before the limits on construction defects expire and the apartments can be sold as condos without exposure to the builder and the underlying insurance.In summary it's possible that legislation could get passed tomorrow, and then next day  a builder could begin offering condos for sale.

Not saying it’s a dooms day as Apple, FB, Google are probably not going anywhere based on how much cash they have and the strength of their business, but the smaller tech firms that never had a chance anyways, that hired a lot of people and paid them well, will be wiped out in the coming years.

Will cost significantly less in labor and a roofer would most likely come out and felt it that day as to avoid moisture damage until they could get out and install the shingles.If the damage is next to a dormer or peak and the flashing isn't there or was installed incorrectly, you may be able to call and get them out there.
