Factors that put pressure on these prices include strong immigration and in-migration numbers, strong employment growth, historically low interest rates and quite frankly - difficult access to employment centres in downtown Toronto.

Very few people do this, but I've found this to be the best gauge on how you property will be in three months.

But also the pressure and opportunity costs on an STR renovation really add up.

Even though I enjoy what I do, the allure of doing it with less monetary pressure but still enjoying the same lifestyle sounds enticing.
