My only concern was with stuff left in the unit but already took pictures and I have video from previous days when I entered unit for maintenance.

Overall from what I see it has depressed multi-family units on the small side (Duplexes and triplexes) and made it very attractive to invest in.

@Anthony Harris - What I would recommend is if you are really interested in the property get a 3rd party appraisal that you and the seller split the costs for.

I don't know how long I plan to stay in this area so I am wondering whether or not to factor that into my decision.Option 1: Buy a house or multi-family to live in and rent it out if I leave the area in the near future. 

I would like to get multi family properties but will also take any SFR that are offered.

I am looking for things like: - investors on the move in the area- deals happening in the area and associated parties- Also, what is happening in other markets outside of Tampa (i.e. 1-4 corridor, Panhandle, SFL, Jax)Basically I want to know the players and the games they are playing.
