You MIGHT be able to go the Principal, or Primary, Broker for the RE company if they are actually legit, and pressure them by stating their actions will be reported to the RE Commission/Board for thatr state.

Never cave in under pressure to pay more than what you think they have done as they always need motivation to return and finish the work.Also when drawing subsections for payment in the bid, always think about how much it would cost for you to get the next guy in to finish the job if they decided onto walk to something better.
