I wouldn't recommend it unless you're as jolly and cheerful as I and have a collection of guns, knives and animal heads and boar skulls hanging in your living room to creep them out enough to leave you alone.I have a house now but am looking for a 10 acre parcel within a 30 mile radius of my portfolio to build on.

Portland seems to have had an easier time of it than we have, and I know you had it bad enough.At any rate, I've got my fingers crossed.In August, my son called me and said he thought we were in recovery because he'd seen 2 sold signs in one day: one in Eugene and one in Crooked River Ranch (about 160 miles apart, for you non-Oregonians).But I'm seeing a lot of sold signs now, and seeing very few price reduced signs.

I've been looking at long lists of REO's in my area (within 20 miles in my county) and have even driven to a few to check them out (nothing formal, just looking at the exterior of the properties).
