Ever-expanding commercial flights out of Paine Field are a HUGE plus for the area.

I live in NY but own in FL, GA, NC, SC, PA, IN and MO.

HOAs are a pain in the b*tt and are restrictive, however it isn't a deal killer if there is a pool or an HOA or both.

@Casey Crowe -  I'd give him a written formal notice that you're going to notify code enforcement and your states dept of health. 

That is pretty cool, but it was painful making those payments.

Additionally, the city inspectors are a pain in the ***, they routinely fail inspections for issues that passed the previous year inorder to collect re-inspection fees. 

Actually if you are using a basic TAR or TAA lease in Texas, the lease clearly states that no repairs other than those that affect the health or safety of the tenant need to be completed if rent is delinquentAdditionally, Texas law states that rent cannot be withheld for reasons other than health or safety AND after proper notice and a reasonable time to repair has been given
