A company called New Western has licensed agents who "wholesale" but the way they structure their deals, they aren't technically wholesaling.

There is almost no multifamily in Chesapeake except for western branch and south Norfolk areas.

I'm considering the purchase of a small home in Western Washington as a STR.  

I found out about BiggerPockets from an old fashioned internet search, and after some quick browsing and a few podcasts (Thanks @Joshua Dorkin!)

It sounds like a property you bought likely fell into this category, and you were unaware of the fact that it was not legally able to be used in the fashion that it was being used.

They aren't western mountain stream but the fishing is great and they are very beautful for scenery too.
