The cap rates are 2% above market average returns on triplexes and fourplexes in Salt Lake and Utah county. 

Earlier this year I bought my first duplex in Ogden Utah, just north of salt lake city, things have been great, living in half and renting the other, but now my company is probing me for a potential mive to Japan.

Hi @Carley M.The biggest problem with something like that in our area is when the Lake Effect snow comes through and they have the heat to 85 degrees and 2 windows open because the breeze feels better.

I have found that The East Lake, closer to downtown areas are too dangerous for me to invest in.

Why not try crown point ,Hobart ,cedar lake ,even parts of Merrillville( close to c.p and hobart ,borders)P.M me I can tell you what areas are 😇&😈
