I know most people prefer a 3bed/2bath.

If you space them out 2-3 days, you'll have time to process applications from the first showing and decide whether to continue with the next open house or notify everyone that a renter has been selected.Applications: I prefer they be 100% online.

We would prefer to buy in our own backyard, but we live in Honolulu and the prices/taxes make even the thought of positive cashflow impossible even with 20-30% down.

Another concern I didn't mention here is that I've already done pre-auths with 3 different lenders (a couple 'preferred' lenders with new developments and an independent), and I don't want to get too many hits on my credit.
