CIR, the memorandum for Inspections of Sections 469(g) and 121, scoured the web, and have attempted to find an attorney/CPA with no luck to help me answer a the question stated below:I am selling a home (currently in escrow) in the Bay Area that I have owned as my primary residence jointly with my parents since 2004 (not purchased in a like-kind 1031 exchange).

I want to work as an agent to help build my foundation, create contacts, and establish a reputation.

Can anyone refer me to a reputable/knowledgeable tax advisor in DC, Virginia, or Maryland?

I have done a few web Searches but would like to here some input from people on BP.

Maybe even just what kind of reputation a certain city or area within a city has. 

Just looking for some tips on how to go about finding reputable builders and whether I should act as the general contractor or have the job be taken on by someone else.

You could just google “most investor friendly attorneys in WY for asset protection” or something like that and start going through the list.All in all, it’s actually kind of expensive to create a web of corporations so pick an attorney who’s not pushy about forming multiple entities and has reasonable advice about how many entities you need per dollar in assets/cashflow.I’d pick up a book on the topic though, I’ve read a few and most are pretty comprehensive.
